February 26-27, 2027
Booth Playhouse at Blumenthal Arts
With a book by Alfred Uhry (two-time Tony Award winner, Pulitzer Prize winner, and Academy Award winner) and music and lyrics by Jason Robert Brown (three-time Tony Award winner), PARADE returns to Charlotte for one weekend only to the intimate Booth Playhouse at Blumenthal Arts.
PARADE tells the story of Leo and Lucille Frank, a Jewish couple seeking to build a life in the “old red hills” of Georgia. On the day of the Confederate Memorial Day parade, the unimaginable happens, testing the Franks’ faith, humanity, justice, and devotion. Brought to life by Queen City Concerts, with the expanded 24-piece Symphonic Orchestra, PARADE reminds us that to love, we must truly see one another.
PARADE is recommended for ages 13 and up and contains adult language and content, themes of anti-Semitism, racism, and violence.
